Best-Ever Roast

Servings: 6
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 5-6 hours on low

Ingredients:

  • 1 beef chuck shoulder roast (3-5 lbs)
  • 1 can 10 3/4 oz. condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 4-5 med. potatoes, quartered
  • 4 cups baby carrots
Directions:
  • Place roast in crock pot
  • Combine cream of mushroom soup and onion soup mix in a medium bowl. Pour over roast; cover
  • Cook on low 4 hours
  • Add potatoes and carrots; cover
  • Cook on low 2 hours

Perfectly Potatoes and Ham

Cook Time: 5-6 hours on low, 2-3 hours on high

Ingredients:

  • 8 sliced potatoes
  • 1 1/2 pounds cubed ham
  • 2 tsp. Garlic Garlic
  • 3 cups water, divided
  • Perfectly Potato Cheddar Soup Mix
Directions:
  • In a slow cooker, layer half the potatoes, ham, and Garlic Garlic.
  • Repeat with remaining potatoes, ham, Garlic Garlic, and 1 cup water.
  • Combine soup mix with remaining 2 cups of water; pour on top.
  • Cook on low 5-6 hours or high 2-3 hours.
Tips:
  • I think I accidentally set the Crock Pot on low and only cooked it for 3 hours but it turned out great. The settings on my slow cooker seem to run higher than most.
